Welcome to the historic Poison Springs Battlefield State Park located in Camden, Arkansas. This park was the site of one of three Civil War Battles to occur in southern Arkansas in the Spring of 1864. This particular battle started on April 18, 1864 and this was a battle that the Confederate Army won when they killed around 300 union soldiers and only lost about 20 of their own.
