What was once the source of local drinking water has long since become a popular local recreation destination, the beautiful Lake Sequoyah Park in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Avid bird-watchers come here with hopes of seeing blue herons, kingfishers, red-tailed hawks, ducks, and even the American Bald Eagle. The lake itself is nearly 400 acres in size and there is a local marina where people can store or rent boats.
