Craighead Forest Park

Welcome to Craighead Forest Park located in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Come out and play a few rounds of disc-golf, go fishing on the lake, explore the trails, or cool down at the beach on a hot summer day.

Playgrounds: This park is home to the Fort Rotary Playground and the Jerry Bookout Memorial Playground

Picnicking: Craighead Forest Park has several picnic shelters. The Joe N. Martin Pavilion has a 50 person capacity, Pavilion 1's capacity is not listed on the city's website, Pavilion 2 has a 70 person capacity, Pavilions 3, 4, and 5 are large with a 135 person capacity, and the capacity of Pavilion 6 is also unlisted. All pavilions have grills.

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open 30 minutes before dawn and close 30 minutes after dusk.

*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, harming of wildlife, littering.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, motor vehicles.

*All dogs must be leashed (except at the dog parks) and waste removed. Dog parks are for local residents only.
