Welcome to Maricopa County's beautiful McDowell Mountain Regional Park, a large desert wilderness. Come out and explore over 50 miles of multipurpose trails. The park got it's name from Camp McDowell, a 19th century military establishment that existed here. It first became a park in 1958 and was expanded in 1964. Come out for some beautiful views.
