Welcome to Jerome State Historic Park located in Jerome, Arizona. This park was first established in the fall of 1965 and gives the visitor a little history of Arizona's mining industry as well as marvelous views of the Verde Valley, the San Franscisco Peaks, and the Oak Creek and Sycamore Canyons. The historic Douglas mansion was built by Canadian-American mining Tycoon James S. "Rawhide" Douglas in 1916.
