The basketball court and hard surface volleyball court at Whitman Park are lighted and allow for night games.

When visiting any park in Mesa, Arizona please respect the rules.

• All animals must be leashed and waste removed; visit the Dog Parks page.
• The following are prohibited; golfing, archery, soliciting, watercraft, windcraft, using materials in the picnic grills other than charchoal, defacing public property, harming wild animals, glass objects, littering, smoking in the picnic areas.
• All motor vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey all State of Arizona traffic laws.
• All remote control cars and boats require special permission. See full rules regarding remote control models.
• Swimming is only allowed in the swimming pools.
• With the proper permits alcoholic beverages can be consumed in the following areas: Dobson Ranch, Falcon Field, Fitch, Pioneer, Red Mountain, Riverview). See full rules regarding alcohol permits.
• All horses must stay in designated areas.
• Camping requires special permits.
