Welcome to Aera Park located on the banks of the Kern River in Bakersfield, California. This park has 11 ball diamonds (4 of them youth sized and 7 adult sized).

Bakersfield California Park Ordinances

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 5:00 a.m. and close at 10:00 p.m.

*The following are prohibited; archery, bicycling, defacing public property, golfing, harming of wildlife, littering, remote control aircraft, weapons.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, motor vehicles, skating.

*The following require special permits; amplified sound, sales (including sales of alcoholic beverages), 

*All persons ages 8 and up must use the restroom of their designated sex.

*All skate park users must wear helmet and pads.

*All dogs must be leashed (no longer than 6 feet) and waste removed.
