Silver Creek Park

Welcome to Silver Creek Park in Bakersfield, California. The western sections of this park are located on the campus of Donald E. Suburu Elementary School so please respect the students and use them only when school is not in session.

The picnic area has grills and the tennis courts are lighted.

Bakersfield California Park Ordinances

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 5:00 a.m. and close at 10:00 p.m.

*The following are prohibited; archery, bicycling, defacing public property, golfing, harming of wildlife, littering, remote control aircraft, weapons.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, motor vehicles, skating.

*The following require special permits; amplified sound, sales (including sales of alcoholic beverages),

*All persons ages 8 and up must use the restroom of their designated sex.

*All skate park users must wear helmet and pads.

*All dogs must be leashed (no longer than 6 feet) and waste removed.
