Welcome to Indian Rock Park in Berkeley, California. This park was first established in 1917 and Dick Leonard, a man who many call "The Father of Modern Rock Climbing" first learned to climb here at Indian Rock Park. Come out and climb the rocks and get some nice views of San Francisco Bay.

Berkeley California Park Ordinances

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 6:00 a.m. and close at 10:00 p.m.

*The following are prohibited; alcohol, camping, defacing public property, harming wildlife, littering, smokinng.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, motor vehicles.

*All dogs must be leashed (no longer than 6 feet) and waste removed.
