Welcome to California's beautiful Castaic Lake State Recreation Area located in the mountains near Castaic just over 40 miles from downtown Los Angeles.
Boating and Fishing: This park has two lakes the smaller of which is only open to smaller non-motorized watercraft. The bigger lake attracts boat enthusiasts and water-skiers from miles around. The lake is stocked annually with catfish, trout, and bass. Come out and spend a day on the water.
