Welcome to the beautiful Estero Bluffs State Park located on California's Pacific coast in Cayucos. This park helps to protect both freshwater and saltwater wetlands and is even home to a few endangered species. Some of the park's first human inhabitants arrived over 10,000 years ago. In the 1980's this land was almost developed but local residents lobbied in favor of it's protection and finally got their wish in 2002 when the park was established. Some of the resident wildlife include mule deer, skunks, rabbits, seagulls, and many others.
