Welcome to Wilderness Park in Downey, California on the banks of the San Gabriel River just off of Interstate 605. This park's picnic area can be rented out for parties and special events.

Downey California Park Ordinances

*All parks open at 8:00 a.m. and close at 10:00 p.m.

*The following are prohibited; glass objects, defacing public property, littering.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; motor vehicles, fires, bicycles, remote control aircraft, golfing, swimming.

*All dogs must be leashed no longer than 6 feet.
