Welcome to one of the oldest power plants in the United States, the historic Folsom Powerhouse State Historic Park located on the banks of the American River in Folsom. In 1895 a man named H.P. Livermore built a hydroelectric power station here which powered the City of Sacramento 22 miles downstream.
