Welcome to California's MacKerricher State Park located near Fort Bragg. This land was once owned by the Union Lumber Company but became a state park in 1952. The park is named for a 19th century Canadian immigrant who used to own land in the region, Dustin MacKerricher. Some of the resident wildlife include black-tailed deer, mountain lions, and gray foxes.
