Huntington State Beach is a beach park in Huntington, California and a very popular place on hot summer days. People come here for all sorts of beach activities but it is particularly special for surfers. The surfing museum, the world's largest annual surfing tournament, and the Surfers Hall of Fame have earned this place the title of Surf City which is also the title of a Beach Boys song.

Fishing: Surf fishing is also a popular recreational activity at Huntington State Beach. People come to catch cabezon, croaker, shovelnose guitarfish and many others.

Like all beaches Huntington State Beach is a great place for kite-flying on windy days. There are also over 8 miles of multipurpose trails waiting to be explored. Come out and have fun.
