Welcome to California's beautiful Crystal Cove State Park located on the Pacific Coast south of the Los Angeles area. This park is a protected wilderness with a variety of landscapes including tide pools, canyons, rolling hills, and sandy beaches. It is a popular place for both aquatic as well as terrestrial recreation. Hikers and mountain bikers come out to explore the miles of multipurpose trails and many surfers, divers, and swimmers come out to explore the beaches. The wide open beach is also a popular aerial recreation place for kite-flyers. The beach itself has been a popular recreation area since the roaring 1920's.
