Welcome to Laguna Niguel Regional Park!

Park History: The land that is now Laguna Niguel Regional Park was once a part of the Rancho Niguel, which was granted to a man named Juan Avila in 1842 by the Mexican Governor Alvarado. Over time the ranch grew to a size of 21,000 acres and fell into the hands of the Moulton Family who sold a third of the land to a man named Daguerre and other sections to the Laguna Niguel Corporation who donated 109 acres to Orange County in 1970. The Moulton Family still owns over 9,000 acres of the original ranch.

For the lover of the outdoors this park boasts volleyball courts, fishing piers, and much more. Come on out and have fun.
