Grover Hot Springs State Park
Welcome to Grover Hot Springs State Park, located almost 6,000 feet above sea level in the mountains near Markleeville, California. These springs average around 104 degrees farenheit year round and people can come swim in them. For those who get too warm there is also a coolwater swimming pool. The springs are green due to mineral deposits located at the bottom of them. Some of the park's resident wildlife include bald eagles, mountain lions, and black bears. Occasionally a certain Sesame Street Character is seen here (RecPlanet Joke).
