Welcome to Briones Regional Park, an oasis of rolling hills and shady canyons located in Martinez, California. Though the park is located within the vicinity of numerous towns, the park is so large that there are places within the park where you can only see other sections of the park. At the highest points in the park the visitor can catch views of the Sacramento River and Delta by looking north, the East Bay Hills and Mount Tamalpais by looking to the west, the Las Trampas Regional Wilderness by looking to the south, and Mount Diablo and the Diablo Valley by looking to the east.
Wildlife: Briones Regional Park helps protect the home of numerous wild critters including black tailed deer, squirrels, coyotes, red-tailed hawks, and turkey vultures. Please treat their home with respect.
For the lover of the outdoors this park boasts numerous picnic tables, three campgrounds, an archery range, many miles of trials, and so much more. Come on out and explore!
