Morro Bay State Park
Welcome to California's beautiful Morro Bay State Park located in the town and on the bay of the same name. This park helps protect a lagoon and bay ecosystem and also boasts an 18 hole golf course, a marina, and a museum that covers both the natural as well as cultural history of the region. Perhaps the park's most notable feature is it's towering Morro Rock. Many bird-watchers come here from miles around to see peregrine falcons, blue herons, and many others. The Black Hill section of the park attracts mountain bikers from miles around. Come out and explore.
Camping: Morro Bay State Park has over 134 campsites many of which have electrical and water hookups.
