Desert Sands Park

Welcome to Desert Sands Park in Palmdale, California. This park was first established in 1991. The two volleyball courts are sand courts and all of the park's athletic facilities are lighted so people can play at night.

Palmdale California Park Ordinances

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 6:00 a.m. and close at 10:00 p.m.

*The following are prohibited; alcoholic beverages (except during special occasions, bicycles, defacing public property, fireworks, littering, smoking, weapons.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; BBQ fires, motor vehicles, swimming.

*The following require special permits; amplified sound, camping, sales.

*All dogs must be leashed (no longer than 6 feet) and waste removed.
