Welcome to the beautiful Palomar Mountain State Park located in southern California's mountain region about 5,000 feet above sea level. This is a unique pine forest ecosystem to southern California that is much more similar to what is in the Sierra Nevada mountains of nothern California. On clear days people can see the ocean to the west and the desert to the east.

Camping: Palomar Mountain State Park has 31 family campsites with bath houses located nearby. Come out and stay a few nights.
