What was once an operating rock quarry is now an active county park in Pleasonton, California, welcome to Shadow Cliffs Regional Recreation Area.

Boating: The 80 acre lake is limited to watercraft that are 17 feet and under. Gas powered motors are not allowed.

Beach: The beach has bathhouses and even lifeguards on duty during the summer. There are even beach wheelchairs to make the beach more ADA accessible.
