Welcome to George Lane Park located in Quartz Hill, California.

Park History: This park is named after the man who once owned the property, George Lane. Lane was a native of New Jersey who moved to California with his wife Olga to establish a farm and run a freight and hauling company. George Lane became locally famous for his mules which helped haul materials that were used to build the Los Angeles City Aqueduct. In 1959 the Lane's generously donated 9 acres of their land to Los Angeles County and two years later in 1961, George Lane Park opened up to the public.

Today this park boasts basketball courts, a swimming pool, a picnic area with grills, the annual Almond Blossom Festival, and much more. Come on out and have fun. To reserve a facility please call 661-722-7780.
