Welcome to California Citrus State Historic Park located in Riverside, California. Here one can learn all about the history of California's thriving Citrus Industry which started in 1873 when the United States Department of Agriculture sent two orange trees to a Riverside Resident named Eliza Tibbets. A new industry was born that eventually became known as "California's Second Gold Rush."
