Welcome to one of California's most popular beaches, the beautiful San Onofre State Beach located near San Clemente about halfway between Los Angeles and San Diego. One of the park's more unique feature's is that it's the site of an ancient Native American village dating back around 8,000 years. This park was first established by Governor Ronald Reagan in 1971 and receives over 2.5M visitors annually drawing surfers from around the world. Come out and fly a kite, explore the trails, watch for whales, catch some sun, and even catch a wave.

Camping: San Onofre State Beach has over 300 campsites with some for tents and others for RV's. There is a 25 foot limit on RV's and electrical and water hookups are available with dump stations and bath houses nearby. The campground is open year round so come out and stay a few nights.
