Welcome to the oldest public space in Torrance, California, the great El Prado Park which was first established in 1912 and was designed by the great Frederick Law Olmsted. In 2012 in honor of the park's centennial a small new monument known as Centennial Plaza was erected.

Torrance California Park Rules
*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 6:00 a.m. and close at 10:00 p.m.
*The following are prohibited; alcoholic beverages (except during special events), defacing public property, disorderly conduct, littering, smoking.
*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, motor vehicles, skating, swimming.
*All persons ages 8 and up must use the restroom of their designated sex.
