Welcome to Mount Madonna County Park nestled in the redwood forests of the Santa Cruz Mountains near Watsonville, California. Long before the arrival of the first white settlers this land was prime hunting ground for the Ohlone Native American tribe. Today it offers visitors breathtaking views of both Monterey Bay and the Santa Clara Valley. This park boasts over 100 campsites (at least 17 of which have electricity and water), over 14 miles of multipurpose trails, and so much more. Mount Madonna County Park is well known for it's beautiful equestrian trails. The picnic areas in Mount Madonna County Park all have firepits so one can bring meats to cook.
