Welcome to Arapaho National Forest located in the majestic Colorado Rockies! 

Forest History: On July 1, 1908 President Theodore Roosevelt established Arapaho National Forest naming it after the Native American tribe that used to hunt the forest's game in the summertime.

Wildlife: The Arapaho National Forest helps protect the home of numerous wild critters including deer, bears, mountain lions, squirrels, rabbits, and many more. Please treat their home with respect. 

For the lover of the outdoors Arapaho National Forest boasts the ski resort of Winter Park, miles of multipurpose trails, mountains to be climbed, and so much more. Come on out and explore!
