Welcome to Carolyn Holmberg Preserve at Rock Creek Farm.

Park History: Before the arrival of the white man in the region this land was home to the Cheyenne and Arapaho tribes. When the gold rush brought white settlers, farmers and railroaders followed. First established as a county park in 1980, the name says it all. This place is a public park but part of it is still used for agricultural purposes. Many residents of Denver and Boulder County come here in the fall to pick out their pumpkins.

For the lover of the outdoors Carolyn Holmberg Preserve offers an oasis of solitude from the surrounding warehouses, malls, and condos. It has miles of multi-use trails and dogs are permitted in this park. Come on out and have fun.
