Colorado State Parks

Welcome to the James M. Robb-Colorado River State Park! The Parks name was changed in 2005 in order to honor James Robb, a former Colorado State representative who helped create the park. The park provides visitors access to the Colorado River, which carved out the Grand Canyon and helps provide clean and cheap electricity to millions of people by spinning the Hoover Dam turbines.

Wildlife: The park serves as wildlife habitat for golden eagles, mule deer, skunks, beavers and other creatures. Please treat their home with respect.

For the lover of the outdoors this park boasts over six miles of trails, a swimming beach, boat launches, and several campsites (only six with electricity). Come on out and have a blast!

To reserve a campsite please call 970-858-9188.
