Sylvan Lake State Park
Welcome to Sylvan Lake State Park nestled in the Rocky Mountains near Eagle, Colorado on the edge of the White River National Forest. Many consider this to be Colorado's most beautiful State Park.
Flora and Fauna: Sylvan Lake State Park helps protect the home of numerous plant and animals species. Some of the plants that grow inside the park boundaries include aspens, snowberries, narrowleaf cottonwoods, and ponderosa pines. Some of the wild animals who call this place home include coyotes, black bears, foxes, marmots, porcupines, cottontail rabbits, beavers, and bald eagles. Please treat their home with respect.
For the lover of the outdoors this magnificent park boasts a one mile nature trail, 44 campsites (no hookups), 12 picnic sites, and so much more. Come on out and explore.
