Legacy Park

Welcome to Legacy Park located on the banks of Cache La Poudre River in Fort Collins, Colorado. The wide open multipurpose field is great for a game of soccer or flying a kite on windy days. The Hickory Trail links up to other nearby recreation areas including Lee Martinez Park located just across the river.

*Unless otherwise posted or unless one has obtained special permits, all parks open at 5:00 a.m. and close at 11:00 p.m.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; bicycles, fires, golfing, motor vehicles, skating.

*The following are prohibited; alcoholic beverages (except at certain special events), defacing public property, glass objects, harming of wildlife, littering.

*The following require special pemits; bonfires, campfires, camping, conducting group events, feeding of wildlife, operation of motorized watercrafts, planting new plants,
