Salyer Natural Area

Welcome to Salyer Natural Area located on the banks of Cache La Poudre River in Fort Collins, Colorado. This natural park was first established in 1985 and was named for the couple who previously owned the land. Come out and hike the trail.

*Unless otherwise posted or unless one has obtained special permits, all parks open at 5:00 a.m. and close at 11:00 p.m.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; bicycles, fires, golfing, motor vehicles, skating.

*The following are prohibited; alcoholic beverages (except at certain special events), defacing public property, glass objects, harming of wildlife, littering.

*The following require special pemits; bonfires, campfires, camping, conducting group events, feeding of wildlife, operation of motorized watercrafts, planting new plants,
