Welcome to Eagle's Nest Open Space Park located in the heart of the Larimie Foothills of the Colorado Rockies along the North Fork of the Cache La Poudre River. Some of parks plants and animals include ponderosa pine and rabbit sagebrush as well as deer, elk, coyotes, black bears, mountain lions, and golden eagles. The park also boasts over 5 miles of multi-purpose trails for hikers and horseback riders. However please be aware that sections of the park are still used for ranching and that you must be wary of cattle while out on the trails. Please stay on the trails and do not disturb sensitive wildlife habitat. Come on out and explore!
