Welcome to Longmont's beautiful Blue Skies Park! Blue skies park, founded in 2006, was given the name of a common airline pilot saying due to it's nearby location to the Longmont Airport. The park is unique in that it contains images of both aviation and biological history, including dragonflies and the aircrafts of Amelia Earhart and the Wright Brothers. Some of the parks amenities include courts for basketball, volleyball (a sand court), and roller-hockey, a multi-purpose field, trail access to the Dry Creek Greenway and much more. Come have fun.
