Welcome to Lanyon Park located along the Oligarcy Ditch in Longmont, Colorado.

Park History: Lanyon Park was named in honor of a man named Ray Lanyon, a local newspaper reporter and former Mayor of Longmont. The park was first purchased in 1964 for a price of $15K. In 1981 Mr. Lanyon passed away and the Lanyon Fund was established and has donated a lot of money to the local community since. Lanyon Park helps protect the home of cottonwood and willow trees and small animals. Please treat their home with respect.

For the lover of the outdoors this small park boasts three baseball fields, a picnic area with grills, a basketball court, a handicapped accessible playground for the kids, and much more. To reserve the picnic area or other facilities please call 303-651-8446. Come on out and have fun.
