Located on the banks of Saint Vrain Creek, the land that is today's Roger's Grove Park is named after it's previous owner, Roger Jones, whom along with his wife was a local school teacher for many years. Jones wanted to one day give something back to his community so upon his passing in 1995 he bequeathed his land to the City of Longmont. In 1998 the park was officially dedicated. This park has multipurpose recreation trails, a picnic area with grills, and beautiful scenery.
