Thompson Park

Longmont, Colorado

Welcome to Thompson Park in Longmont, Colorado, a suburb of the mile high City of Denver. The park itself is named for Elizabeth Rowell Thompson, a 19th century abolitionist who migrated to Longmont, Colorado from the eastern seaboard. Over the years she made many contributions to the local community but perhaps the most notable of these is the local library. For over a century's time this has been a popular public gathering place for local Longmont residents. To reserve the park's picnic shelters please call 303-651-8446.
