Welcome to the beautiful Meyer Ranch Park in the Rocky Mountain foothills of Morrison, Colorado, just west of Denver. This park is an aspen and pine forest area that protects wildlife habitat for mountain lions, white-tailed deer, black bears, and many others. For the human visitor there are miles of multipurpose trails for all seasons waiting to be explored. This was RecPlanet place of the day on February 27, 2015.
