Welcome to Colorado's Stagecoach State Park located not far from Steamboat Springs. Like the name implies, this park was once the site where many stagecoaches passed through the Rocky Mountains. The fertile Yampa Valley Region attracted many farmers, ranchers, and miners and today some of the park's picnic sites are named after old mining camps. Some of the park's wildlife residents include badgers, deer, osprey, foxes, and rabbits. Please treat their home with respect. For the outdoor enthusiast Stagecoach boasts multipurpose trails, 92 campsites, numerous aquatic opportunities, and much more. Come on out and explore.
