Welcome to Lake Pueblo State Park! Lake Pueblo is a 4500 acre reservoir formed by the damming of the Arkansas River. It boasts over 60 miles of shoreline and is quite the sportsman's adventure. Aside from the numerous opportunities for water recreation the parks trails are open to hikers, horseback riders, and bikers and there are plenty of picnic grounds. Juniper trees over 200 years in age stand in this park. The park was established in 1975 and today provides wildlife habitat for deer, coyotes, beavers, snakes, eagles, and other species. The park has over 400 campsites and many of them have electricity. Come on out and have fun!
