Welcome to Martin and Short Reach Parks located on the banks of the Hockanum River in East Hartford, Connecticut. These two parks border each other so they share a profile.

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at dawn and close at dusk.

*The following require special permits; sales.

*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, harming of wildlife, littering, weapons.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; alcoholic beverages, bicycles, fires, motor vehicles, organized athletic play, skating.
