Welcome to Connecticut's beautiful Sleeping Giant State Park located in Hamden. This two mile long geological formation got it's name because it resembles a sleeping giant. From the top one has a great view of the New Haven area and the Long Island sound. This was RecPlanet place of the day on February 8, 2018.
