Welcome to Roosevelt Forest in Stratford, Connecticut. The town first purchased this land during the Depression era of the 1930's and named for FDR who was president at the time. It was his WPA program that helped build the trails at the town forest. Come out and hike the trails or bring the pooch to the dog park.
