Welcome to Connecticut's Quaddick State Park located near Thompson. Long before the first Europeans arrived in the region this was prime Native American fishing ground for the Nipmuck Tribe. In more recent years it was the site of the Thompson Family Farm. In 1951 it finally became a state park and it's sandy swimming beach has long been a popular place on hot summer days.
