Welcome to Washington Park in Waterbury, Connecticut. This active urban playground is named for the 1st President of the United States George Washington who was also a General in the Revolutionary War. Come out and shoot some hoops and hit a few home runs. The ball diamond is lighted so people can play at night.

*All parks open at 5:00 a.m. and close at 10:30 p.m. 

*The following are prohibited; littering, defacing public property, alcoholic beverages, abusive speech, disturbing of animals.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; motor vehicles, fires, swimming.

*All dogs must be leashed.
