Welcome to Connecticut's beautiful Harkness Memorial State Park located on the shores of the Long Island Sound in Waterford. This was the early 20th century mansion and estate of a wealthy couple, Edward Harkness and his wife mary. Harkness made a lot of money investing in Standard Oil.
