Welcome to Spicebush Swamp Park in West Hartford, Connecticut. This 33 acre nature preserve was first established back in 1962 as West Hartford's first nature park and has long been a popular field trip destination for local school kids. Come out and explore the trails.

West Hartford Connecticut Park Ordinances

*All parks close at 9:00 p.m.

*The following are prohibited; archery, defacing public property, discharging of firearms, harming wildlife, littering.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; alcoholic beverages, fires, motor vehicles.

*All dogs must be leashed (no longer than 6 feet) and waste removed.

Please respect these and all local, State of Connecticut, and United States statutes.
