James Farm Ecological Preserve

Welcome to James Farm Ecological Preserve in Ocean View, Delaware. Exploring the preserves trails will take you through several differnt types of habitats, both low and high marsh as well as loblolly pine and hardwood forest. As the name implies this land was once used for agricultural purposes but first became a nature preserve in the late 1990's when the land's owner, Mary Lighthipe, a descentant of the James Family, generously donated it to Sussex County.
